Vivaldi’s Four Seasons

The Carolina Music Planner String Quartet is looking forward to performing Vivaldi's “The Four Seasons.” This work is amongst Vivaldi's most-notable compositions and one of the earliest examples of program music. Each of the four violin concerti (the "seasons") are split into three movements. Vivaldi wrote the pieces to accompany poems bringing Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter to life through music.
