Founded in 1953 by Louis Auriacombe, the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra (Orchestre de Chambre de Toulouse) is one of France’s premier string ensembles, celebrated for its rich tonal colors, expressive clarity, and wide-ranging repertoire. Established with twelve solo string players, the orchestra has performed more than 5,000 concerts across thirty countries and recorded over sixty albums. Throughout its history, the ensemble has preserved its collaborative, self-governed spirit while maintaining an active schedule of international tours, educational programs, and community outreach. Its dynamic and highly expressive performances continue to connect generations and inspire audiences around the world.

For the program “Paris and European Romanticism,” the orchestra will be joined by soloists: French violinist Manon Galy, winner of the 2022 Victoires de la Musique Classique Revelation Award, and Italian pianist Andrea Vivanet, internationally active soloist and recording artist. Together with the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra, they will present a musical journey inspired by Paris and the European Romantic tradition, featuring virtuosity, refinement, sensitivity, and expressive depth.
