Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde returns to the screen in a monumental new staging from visionary director Yuval Sharon, marking his much-anticipated Metropolitan Opera debut. With Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin at the podium for the first time in this epic work, the production features a stellar cast led by dramatic soprano Lise Davidsen as Isolde and tenor Michael Spyres as Tristan, bringing fresh intensity to this profound tale of doomed love.
