Pianist Solomon Eichner has earned international recognition for his artistry, performing throughout the United States and Europe on distinguished stages and festivals. Known for his expressive interpretations and versatility, he has appeared as a soloist with the North Carolina Symphony, the Salisbury Symphony, and orchestras in Spain, among many others. His concerto repertoire includes works by Beethoven, Liszt, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, Grieg, and Saint-Saëns, collaborating with renowned conductors such as Christoph Koenig and Uriel Segal. Eichner has also been a featured artist on The Discovery Orchestra series with George Mariner Maull and has won top prizes at the Liszt-Garrison International Competition, the International Young Artists Competition in Washington, D.C., and the Miami Music Festival Concerto Competition.

In addition to his solo career, Eichner is an avid chamber musician, recently debuting at the Newport Music Festival alongside cellist Amit Peled. His performances have been featured on concert series across the country, from San Francisco’s Old St. Mary’s Cathedral to Sarasota’s Artist Series and New York’s National City Church. Internationally, he has been sponsored by the March of the Living Foundation, performing in Krakow and at Auschwitz for the 75th anniversary of its liberation before an audience of 20,000. He is also a frequent participant in prestigious festivals including Pianofest in the Hamptons, the Montecito International Music Festival, and the American Fine Arts Festival in Austria. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and the Peabody Conservatory, Eichner now lives in Chapel Hill with his wife Becky and their daughter Skylar, while also serving on the faculty of the North Carolina Chamber Music Institute.
