To celebrate five decades of artistic excellence, the Newberry Ballet Guild presents its milestone 50th anniversary production, Little Golden Ballet: The Fairy Doll + Fractured Fairy Tales. This enchanting two-act “ballet remix” opens with The Fairy Doll (originally Die Puppenfee), a beloved classic one-act ballet for children that brings a magical toy shop to life. In the second act, the story journeys beyond the Looking Glass into a playful realm where familiar characters from cherished fairy tales navigate unexpected plot twists. Grounded in themes of kindness creating new realities, this vibrant performance serves as a heartwarming homage honoring fifty years of dedicated students, supportive families, and loyal community patrons.
