Marking the fifth major production in this celebrated national series, World on a String: Swinging Songs of Broadway offers a masterful bridge between two defining American art forms. Backed by a phenomenal ensemble of world-class musicians, this special concert event reimagines the theatrical songbook, breathing a fresh, swinging energy into the music that has shaped generations of theatergoers.

This sensational production features the powerhouse co-headlining duo of breakout vocalists Kate Kortum and David Marino, who debut dazzling new arrangements of tunes from Broadway’s most beloved productions, including Hamilton, Wicked, South Pacific, and West Side Story. Kortum, a brilliant Juilliard graduate whose hit debut album “Good Woman” surpassed millions of streams, infuses the setlist with her unique, warm sound that blends bebop, blues, and musical theater. She shares the stage with Marino, a charismatic finalist from Canada’s version of The Voice who has been hailed by BroadwayWorld as a rare, refreshing all-around entertainer.
