Dreamer’s Atlas invites audiences on a captivating journey into the world of dreams, where imagination takes flight and reality shifts with every scene. Inspired by Emily Winfield Martin’s beloved books Dream Animals and Day Dreamers, this original ballet blends enchanting storytelling with expressive movement to create a performance that will delight dreamers of every age. Audiences will be transported through a series of magical dreamscapes, each brought to life by the artistry of the dancers as they explore the wonder, whimsy, and mystery that unfold when we drift into sleep.

Presented by the Newberry Ballet Guild, Dreamer’s Atlas continues the organization’s long-standing mission of enriching the cultural life of Newberry County through dance. Since its founding in 1977 by Peggy Wilson and Kendyl Griffith, the Guild has nurtured generations of dancers and provided the community with access to quality performances and training. Now in its 47th season, the Guild’s resilience and passion remain evident in productions that inspire, educate, and unite audiences, ensuring that the transformative power of dance continues to flourish in Newberry for years to come.
