Description

Quebe Sisters Under the Canopy

These Texas Fiddle Champions play everything from Bluegrass to Progressive Western Swing. When the Quebe (rhymes with “maybe”) Sisters start playing and singing in multi-part close harmony, audiences are transfixed, then blown away. The trio’s vocal and instrumental performances are authentically All American and reminiscent of the artists that inspired them.

The Brazilian All Stars are memorable for unique sounds from the piano, guitar, percussion, and vocals that help guide you through a piece of Brazil. Individually and collectively, they have performed all over the world with the biggest Brazilian musical names and at the greatest venues and festivals. Imagine the harmonies of the Andrews Sisters were swept up in a Western Swing tune with Johnny Gimble level fiddle playing, and you are close to the genius of the Quebe Sisters.

With over fifteen years of touring to date, The Quebe Sisters have delivered their authentic triple fiddle and three-part harmony sound to the concert halls and festivals of North America, Europe, and Russia.

Grace, Sophia, and Hulda Quebe front an innovative Progressive Western Swing band of the archtop guitar, upright bass, fiddles, and sibling harmony. The Dallas-based five-piece presents a unique Americana blend of Western Swing, Jazz-influenced Swing, Country, Texas-Style Fiddling, and Western music.

While continuing to find innovation in their music, a concert by the Quebe Sisters will still have you hearing the greats like The Mills Brothers, Ray Price, Count Basie, and Willie Nelson in their music.

There is a 1-hour abbreviated educational performance on Tuesday, October 19 at 11:00 A.M. Call the Box Office for discounted pricing.
