Members of the Newberry College Department of Music, students, faculty, and the community come together for a special performance. The Newberry Chamber Orchestra (NCO) is a college-community or town-and-gown orchestra and is open to students. Join the Newberry Chamber Orchestra as they present classical and chamber favorites.

Event Details
The Newberry College Chamber Orchestra is a town-and-gown string ensemble that combines the best of the college with the best of the community. In addition to fall on-campus concerts, the group, conducted by Dr. Patrick Casey, performs its spring concert annually at the Newberry Opera House.
The Newberry College Department of Music, a supportive student-centered community, is home to aspiring music teachers, performers, church musicians, and more. With small class sizes and an outstanding faculty of active performers who are also experienced teachers, every student receives personalized and attentive instruction. Music has long been a dynamic aspect of campus life and the ensembles remain fixtures in the region.
