The School District of Newberry County proudly presents Shrek JR., the 2025 district wide musical that brings together students from across the county in a joyful celebration of creativity and teamwork. This large-scale production highlights student talent both on stage and behind the scenes, featuring student performers, musicians, technicians, and designers working collaboratively to deliver a polished and entertaining theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.

 

Based on the beloved DreamWorks film and Broadway musical, Shrek JR. is a lively and heartwarming story about acceptance, friendship, and embracing what makes each person unique. With catchy songs, colorful characters, and imaginative storytelling, this family friendly musical invites audiences into a fairy tale world where misfits become heroes and true happiness comes from being yourself.
