With the new season about to launch, you will want to see what other great things are happening!

The more things change, the more things stay the same.  That's what I'm told at least.  Newberry has had a lot of change, with a new Executive Director moving to town, a new City Manager named, and a new Chamber of Commerce Director at the helm for the County.  But the same part is that Newberry is still the place of frienly folks. And frankly this is true!  You can always travel to Columbia for dinner and show.  Heck you can even see some of the acts we are having this season in Greenville.

But you won't have the same experience.  Intimate, is a word that comes to mind.  You are no more than 75 feet away from the performer, our ambassadors will call you by name, we will walk you to your seat, we serve the latest in beveragaes and we've even made our website firendly and welcoming.  We call it Gracious Hospitatily.  Thank you to the Biltmore Executive Leadership program for that!  Speaking of Biltmore Estate, while you are on your way from Charleston to Asheville this fall to seek out the amazing colors, come by Newberry for a world class performance!  REM's Mike Mills is going to performe a one of kind Concerto for Violin and Rock band with us in October,  New York's own Ailey 2 Dance Company will be here in the spring to dazzle us andLamp Chop will make an apperance for our younger guests and those young at heart.

And it's not just inside the OPera House that has events.  The City of Newberry hosts the amazing Octoberfest the first Saturday in October.  The Guild of the Opera House is having a special and amazing Oyster Roast in November, and The Chamber of Commerce has Business After Hours that is THE place to be!

Newberry is a power house of exciting change and movement in the Midlands and the Southeast Region.  So while traveling from Florida to New York, or Charleston to Ohio, stop by, say hello, enjoy food, fun and hospitatily.

BECAUSE, if you haven't played in Newberry, you have't played in South Carolina!
