March Madness has officially arrived. And yes as excited as we are about it being basket ball’s biggest month, it is actually one of our biggest months here at the Opera House as well. We have 26 shows in the 31 days of March… Can you say March Madness?
But we don’t want you to think that we aren’t ready for this madness because we are beyond ready. We are very excited to have all of these unbelieve acts and performances here this month, and we can’t wait to share these phenomenal experiences that are sure to become treasured memories!
To kick off the month of all things green and Irish we have the one and only Ciaran Nagle, who happens to be one of the founding members of The Three Irish Tenors. He and his beautiful and very talented wife, Tara Novak will be coming to the Newberry Opera House this Thursday night (3/2/17). And you have two opportunities to see him perform at 3:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Ciaran will blow you away with his beautiful Irish accent, and charming good looks. But once he starts to perform you will be mesmerized by his talent. We may not have “Whiskey in the Jar” like Ciaran’s top song, but we do have other beverages you can enjoy during the performance! And, who knows, you might even get lucky and get to see some of his moves from Riverdance. Guess you will have to come and see for yourself!
If you can't make it see Ciaran Nagle, then no worries we still have 25 other shows you could come see this month. We are so excited to have some of our top shows all performing this month. We are thrilled to have 3 different dance performances: Cinderella Ballet, Celebration of World Dance, and Ailey II. We also have Mallory Lewis and Lamb Chop on March 19th which will be a great show for you and your kids to enjoy!
If you are looking for a big band performance we have Fabulous Fox Equinox Orchestra with two outstanding and talented men who will have you singing and dancing the entire time.
We really do have a little bit of everything for everyone this month. Come join us and make this March a month to remember.
Happy spring everyone!
