This tribute band has traveled across the U.S. and Internationally.

In conjunction with the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street’s traveling exhibit Crossroads: Change in Rural America

A whole panel of the traveling Smithsonian exhibit “Crossroads: Change in Rural America,” is titled “Read About Rural.” Stories about rural America have helped to define us as a nation. We remember the teacher who read us “A Little House on the Prairie.” Rick Bragg had us laughing at ourselves. When our book club read Marilynn Robinson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning “Gilead,” we were reminded how history lives through generations. Rural literature helps define our sense of place and inspired these events this January at the Newberry Opera House.

Newberry, SC— The Newberry Opera House hosts close to 200 performances a season in our intimate venue. Purchasing tickets in this day and age can be complicated and not to mention intimidating. Never fear our Box Office is here to help you along the way! There are three ways to purchase tickets for our shows: you can purchase tickets online at www.newberryoperahouse.com, call the Box Office at (803)-276-6264 or visit the box office in person at 1201 McKibben St. in Downtown Newberry. If you purchase online make sure you are on the OFFICIAL Newberry Opera House website. There are a lot of scammers out there reselling tickets for up to 5x the original ticket price. Don't fall into their trap. If you think you are on a scam site please alert our Box Office.

Newberry, SC – Earlier this season, the Newberry Opera House hosted Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Veer Union, Tantric, and Shallow side during their 2018 Resurrection tour. That show almost sold out and so far, was one of the more memorable shows that has visited the opera house this season. If you like a little softer, more alternative rock music rather than hard rock and metal, Fastball is the right show for you.

Last year we interoduced Enhanced Experiences and they were recieved well. They consisted of Free events like light receptions before all of our Fine Arts Events and occasioinally a contest to get you in the mood for the performance ahead. This year we have stepped up and doubled the Enhanced Experiences in our seasonal brochure.
