A legend, a revolutionary banjo player, and one of the best-known artists in the history of country music.  At the age of ten, he developed a style utilizing three fingers that was to become known world-wide as "Scruggs-Style Picking".  4 Grammy Awards, a National Medal of the Arts, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the International Bluegrass Music Association's Hall of Honor.  While a member of the Foggy Mountain Boys in 1948, the group became the most prominent band in bluegrass history and made popular this sound to millions of listeners with their Beverly Hillbillies, "The Ballad of Jed Clampett".  Scruggs also wrote and recorded the instrumental "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" for the movie Bonnie and Clyde.

This new Gershwin musical is an all singing, all dancing, musical revue that celebrates the genius of George and Ira Gershwin.  New York in 1916, Paris in the 30's, Hollywood in the 40's, New Orleans in the 50's, and somewhere in the world today.  "S'Wonderfl" takes you on a ride to the different places, times and musical styles that make the Gershwin brothers the most successful songwriting team in the history of popular music.

The Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them.  Although not all of the current members of the Steps are former Capitol Hill staffers, taken together the performers have worked in a total of eighteen Congressional offices and represent 62 years of collective House and Senate staff experience.  Since they began the Capitol Steps have recorded over 30 albums.  They've been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS.
