Singer/songwriter
Robert Earl Keen has built has reputation as the nation's finest musical
storyteller. Keen has been performing since 1981, paving the road
for future generations of songwriters and performers. "He
paints musical portraits that are as vivid as sunsets over the great
Southwest and stories that are as compelling and timeless as Cormac
McCarthy novels." Infused with insight and humor, Keen's songs
give new meaning each time they're listened to. Artists such as
George Strait, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Lyle Lovett and the Dixie
Chicks have chosen to record his songs over the years. Keen
says, "I'm an OK singer and an OK player and I'm an OK melody
guy when it comes to making up a song, but I feel like my gift is my
lyrics. They have always come easily for me and I've enjoyed
it." His newest album "Ready for Confetti" has been
called one of the finest of his career. |

If Mac McAnally
never sang or played another note of music, his place in music history is
more than assured. Mississippi singer/songwriter, producer,
vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and all around musical sage, Mac's
songwriting attracted Jimmy Buffett and Hank Williams, Jr., both of whom
cut McAnally songs. Alabama took his Old Flame to No.
1. Reba McEntire, T.G. Sheppard, David Allan Coe, Shenandoah, Dolly
Parton, Linda Ronstadt, Ricky Van Shelton, Charley Pride, Randy Travis and
Steve Wariner are just some of the artists who cut Mac's songs. Over
the next 20 years, McAnally became an in-demand producer, along the way
working with Ricky Skaggs, Restless Heart, Chris LeDoux, and Little Feat,
among others. He produced the band Sawyer Brown through their
biggest successes and penned their signature hits including The Cafe On
The Corner, The Boys And Me and Thank God For You. His
guitar and vocal skills weren't confined to the studio as he joined
Buffett's touring Coral Reefer band, an association that continues to this
day. |

The
youngest of eight children, Crystal was a "coal miner's
daughter" before she was a platinum selling singer and a world-class
entertainer. Crystal Gayle became the first female artist in country
music history to achieve platinum album sales. Her enduring career
signature-song is Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue. Country,
folk, pop, rock 'n roll, Broadway show tunes and gospel have all found
equal place in her heart. Crystal's musical boundaries seem
limitless - as proven by her latest much anticipated project - "All
My Tomorrows" - a mood influenced collection of American
standards. Songs such as Cry Me A River, Sentimental Journey, It
Had To Be You, and Smile somehow reach the heights their
songwriters must have dreamed of when piped through the beautiful chords
of Crystal Gayle. "These are songs any artist loves to
sing," said Crystal in a recent interview. "They've
endured to become timeless," |

They
came to call Don Williams "the Gentle Giant" in the decades he
was a dominating country hit maker because of his unique blend of
commanding presence and that laid-back, easy style that has appealed to
adult men and women alike - cutting across national and genre
boundaries. Between 1974 and 1991, Don had at least one major hit
every year, including such country standards as Good Ole Boys Like Me,
Till the Rivers All Run Dry, It Must Be Love, I'm Just a Country Boy,
Amanda and I Believe in You. He also had a hit duet with
Emmylou Harris on Townes Van Zandt's If I Needed You. Don was
the CMA Male Vocalist of the Year in 1978; his Tulsa Time was the
ACM Record of the Year for 1979. In 2010, Don received country

John
Michael's rich baritone carries that most important of assets -
believability. Few artists in any genre sing with more heart than
this Kentucky-born artist. Songs like I Swear, I Love the
Way You Love Me and I Can Love You Like That still resonate
across the landscape - pop icon and country newcomer Jessica Simpson cited
I love The Way You Love Me as "life changing." It
is apparent in the 2004 hit Letters From Home, one of the most
moving tributes to the connection between soldiers and their families ever
recorded, and in The Little Girl, a tale of redemption that plumbs
both the harrowing and the uplifting. He has "fun songs to -
songs like Be My Baby Tonight and Sold (The Grundy Country
Auction incident). The hits followed steadily with songs like Rope
The Moon , If You've Got Love, No Man's Land, Cowboy Love, As Long As I
Live, Friends and How Was I To Know. He received the CMA
Horizon award and was named the ACM's Top New Vocalist, setting off a long
series of awards that included the CMA's Single and Song of the Year,
Billboard's Top Country Artist, and a Grammy nomination. |
