  The duo piano team of Stoudenmire-Elshazly will present a global selection of music.  The program will include compositions by Shostakovich and Guastavino as well as the well-known Scaramouche by Milhaud and Fantasy on Porgy and Bess by George Gershwin.

  Chopin, Liszt, Debussy and more in an evening of gorgeous piano music performed by a master.  Checinski was born in Lodz, Poland, and trained at the Music Academy in Warsaw and the Julliard School.  He has taught at the Pennsylvania State University, the University of British Columbia, Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts, and Columbia College in SC. "pure pianistic wizardry".  The Vancouver sun raved, and the Chicago Tribune wrote "a performance that soared from the first note to last."
